About Me

Hi, I'm Mark

I achieved 625 points in the Leaving Cert, including a H1 in Higher Level Maths, and I'm currently studying Economics & Finance at University College Dublin.

Over the past few years I've worked with students across all levels, helping them improve not just their results but their confidence going into maths exams.

I started Éire Maths because I know first-hand how stressful the Leaving Cert can feel. Most students who struggle aren't lacking ability. Maths is simply often taught in a way that's hard to apply under exam pressure.

My approach focuses on simplifying concepts, recognising exam patterns, and teaching students exactly how to approach Leaving Cert questions efficiently and confidently. The goal is simple: walk into that exam prepared, confident, and capable.

Is this for Higher Level or Ordinary Level?
Both. Grinds are available for Higher Level and Ordinary Level Leaving Cert Maths. Just let me know which level your child is doing when you get in touch, and the sessions and resources are tailored accordingly.
When can my child start grinds?
Grinds are available now for the 2026/27 school year, one-to-one or small group. Just message on WhatsApp and we'll arrange a start date and weekly time that suits you. The full self-study video course launches separately in January 2027.
Do the grinds include the notes and videos?
Yes. Every student, one-to-one or group, gets access to the professional notes and the video recordings, released chapter by chapter through the year. They're included at no extra cost with your grinds.
When is the full video course available?
The complete self-study video course launches in January 2027. In the meantime, grinds students get the notes and video recordings released chapter by chapter through the year. Message on WhatsApp to join the waitlist for the full course.
How many students are in a group class?
Groups are capped at 4 students. This is deliberate. It's small enough that you can ask questions and get real answers, but structured like a class rather than a one-to-one session.
What platform are the classes on?
Live classes run on Zoom. You'll receive a recurring meeting link when you sign up. All sessions are recorded and uploaded within 24 hours for those who can't attend live.
I'm a parent, is one-to-one right for my child?
The one-to-one plan is designed specifically for students who need focused, personalised support. Sessions are tailored to your child's weak areas and we work directly with the parent to track progress. Availability is limited to 5 students per term so enquire early.
